Description

Taking its design cues from the best in the business, The Amplid Freequencer is baked in the mould of the infamous Milligram Split but built to appeal to a broader spectrum of shredders. Though more affordable than the Milli, no corners have been cut: it’s lightweight but can take a licking and keep on ticking so you can trust itto get you to the pow pow far away from the crowd.Whether it’s blitzing blower or blasting crud, the Freequencer’s versatile shape means it’s perfectly tuned to whatever you’re riding.
BTW: This split deck also comes complete with Amplid’s home grown split hardware.

Shape: Tapered Directional

Camber with early rise:
In our experience this is the perfect camber-line for no-compromise, allmountain inspired, powder shredding. Subtle rocker in the tips generate lots of lift at low speeds and an out-of-this-world, weightless feel at speed. Underfoot camber transmits power at its best and helps for increased traction when skinning.

Technical Key Features:

OMNI CORE
This superlight wood core is the industry standard for lighteweight, durable and versatile performance. We’ve tweaked this core so many times over the years there’s nothing left to improve.

BIAX GLASS
Using Biaxial Glass in the construction of our shreds gives them a flawless blend of response and playfulness whilst keeping them ridiculously lightweight.

FLOATATION TIPS
Ultra wide, low rising tips that exist purely to create lift in powder without sucking-up speed. They add a surfy feel to skis and snowboards.

EXTRUDED BASE
If we didn’t tell you, you’d think this base was sintered. Amplid’s mind-boggling extruded base material offers next level glide properties and rarely needs waxing.

SPLIT TUNE
We lightly round the edges at the tip and tail, outside of the effective edge. Blunting these edges reduces chipping to the topsheet during skinning.

BOLTED TIP CLIPS
Using threaded bolts instead of rivets allows broken tip clips to be easily replaced, on the hill, without the need for a workshop full of tools.
